Glass Blowing Lessons

The one day course is designed to introduce people to the amazing properties of Hot Glass.

The emphasis will be on a one to one tuition basis and no previous experience is required just enthusiasm!

In the course of the day we will work in teams of two taking turns to be the gaffer and first assistant - you will quickly learn enough of the basics so that you can create your first piece of Art Glass whether it be Blown,Sandcast or freeform fabricated.

Any masterpieces that you make during the course of the day are yours to take home but you will have wait until the piece is annealed (cooled down)which can take 24hrs.

The courses will take place on a Friday so a long weekend in the picturesque town of Dartmouth could be an option!

The Course cost is £175 (inc Vat) per person and this includes the use of all the tools colours and glass.

The Class size is restricted to 4 persons for 2 reasons - one it is safer and secondly this allows for more focused tuition.

There will be 2 master glassmakers available during the course of the day.

The course will run from 10.30 - 16:00 with an optional hour for lunch (not provided).
